Rosswoods
four guest rooms are upstairs in the mansion, with
canopied beds, Oriental rugs and antique furnishings.
Each room has a private bath, TV/VCR, air conditioning
and electric heat, and ceiling fan. Guests enjoy relaxing and watching deer from the spacious top gallery, wake-up coffee served in the room, and a full plantation breakfast served on fine china, linen and silver in the main dining room. They receive a guided tour of the home and slave quarters, an opportunity to browse through Doctor Wades plantation diary, and they are welcome to use the swimming pool and spa (jacuzzi). There is a stocked lake on the estate and some nature trails through the forests (and a metal detector if they would like to search for the buried treasure). Children are welcome. Rosswood is quiet and secluded, and it is ideal for honeymoons and anniversaries. |
